4 Years...

Maybe it was a budget issue? Maybe things couldn’t fit in budget for a certain pack? Maybe the devs are evil and are intentionally holding out on us? We don’t know why some of these things took so long or why we don’t have certain things. I don’t think they intentionally kept/keep them from us or that they are lazy. It either wasn’t in the budget or wasn’t able to be made until now. Don’t get me wrong I don’t argue that sims 2 had more but sims 2 had a much larger team. So apples and oranges here really. The sims budget was slashed before sims 4 and the team is much smaller than in past games. Most know that but they don’t take that into account when wondering why we don’t have things in the game or why things take so long. Also they are very very aware of what their players want. But it takes a lot more than just saying they are going to do something. It has to fit in with a pack, has to be something they can do, has to be within budget. Some thing she like color wheel are not doable within sims 4. Especially now, that would be so expensive and would require redoing every object and piece of clothing currently in game which would take away from more important content (come on I want burglers and firefighters too). At least they are adding stuff for free, at least they are creating things we want. Why does it matter it took 4 years? It has 3 more so really why does it matter? They will get to a lot of it most likely anyway. Plus some of it again will be free. Also another good timing for bunk beds would be university. Give it time, may seem crazy but this game is going on longer than any sims. Personally I like it better than 3 and 1, even though I still enjoy both. I find myself less stressed and that lets me enjoy the game more. I don’t like it more than 2 but the fact is I enjoyed that game when it would crash with every loading screen. It’s hard to enjoy a game so much that you keep playing even though it crashes and doesn’t work well. So sims 2 holds a special place. But sims 4 is cool too.

P.S this isn’t to start and argument with anyone. This is my personal opinion. It’s okay if sims 4 isn’t your top sims game. It wasn’t one I liked until a year ago so I get it. Also this isn’t a defending the devs post. They irritate me sometimes too but I do understand we can’t have it all (be cool if we did have that sims game though, sims 5 anyone?). Also I want most of the things y’all want too. Just because it’s been 4 years doesn’t mean we won’t see them. I’m optimistic, annoyingly so sometimes.
