Suggestions for things to add:
- Add more harvestables and recipes.
- Add more livestock animals such as turkeys, pigs, and geese that provide new animal products (turkey meat, pork, and down feathers). The items can be used in cooking and crafting recipes.
- The ability to build attic rooms in roofs.
- The ability to bulldoze lots from the world menu instead of having to load the lot first.
- The ability to place skylights in roofs (not simply use transparent roof textures).
- Add new activities and sports such an air hockey, drivable cars, golf, tennis, ice hockey, and volleyball.
- Add new skills and crafting activities such as archery, blacksmithing, logging (to collect wood ingredients for wood working), pottery, and sewing.
- Add updates to career and add more active careers. Add singing and DJ mixing to entertainer career, add barista to culinary career, add more types of investigations to detective career, and allow detective NPCs to show up and arrest criminal sims.
- Make activity selection when planning events base game compatible.
- Add an interaction that requires sims to knock on the door before entering a room. I suggest this because sims are always walking into a bathroom when another household member is using the shower, bath, or toilet and causing them to become embarrassed. There is no privacy or way to designate a room (especially bathrooms) as occupied. Sims will also try to sleep in beds when other sims are already asleep in them and wake them up.
- Add a thief trait that allows sims to steal anything in their vicinity (within reason). The klepto trait is kind of lame and if you don't have for rent or don't want to trigger a break - in event, you can just steal stuff that's nearby. Sims shouldn't be able to do things like enter a restaurant and steal a chef station or enter a gym and steal a treadmill. They can steal items that would fit in the sim inventory, but not the household inventory.
- Add a grocery store lot trait/challenge so sims can create retail store that sells canned goods, homemade ingredients, and animal products with better profit margins. I just like the idea of having a grocery store. Also add more customer favorability towards baked goods and crafted items in retail stores.
- Add an update to dineout that allows restaurants to receive online orders for takeout, allows the played household members to fill staff roles, and allows chefs to prepare meals at the chef station with optional ingredients (which can be stored in a nearby fridge). The takeout orders would function by allowing NPCs to place an order online, the sim receives a notification with the order details, the chef makes the order, and the waiter takes the order to a designated takeout counter or station for the NPC to pick - up. The played sim who owns the restaurant can click on household members and ask them to fill a specific staff role. If ingredients are stored in the fridge in the restaurant, chef sims will use them to prepare meals (thus allowing restaurants to earn more profits by reducing crafting cost). Add new food truck shells so players can build food truck style restaurants.
