A question for challenge and legacy players!

Hi hi!!

When playing legacies and challenges that require you to track progress, what do you use? I know some people like spreadsheets, I prefer to use a notebook, what about you? Do you even track it outside of the game at all?

  • I too use a notebook. I have to keep track of everything or I get lost on who is who after awhile.

  • I don't play legacies, only challenges, and I use scratch paper for notekeeping. I find that more flexible than a notebook, since I can dedicate each sheet to a topic, goal or sim and spread them out on my desk. (Yes, they do get spilled sometimes, in case you wonder.)

Only when I publish a round's results on my blog do I switch to a simple table made in Word.

Ravasheen has ingame notepads where players can type in whatever they want, for example debts owed. I also used to have cc house numbers that could be used as an ingame tracker. In the challenge I'm currently playing I need to keep track of how many tiles I have earned and used for my lot, the numbers would come in handy for this.
