When we get a Catholic-inspired update with Nun garb, I am pretty sure you will see the same argument. People need to get over the fake racism because this isn't about racism or any kind of hate against Muslims. It is about EA breaking their own rule about staying away from religion.
If they would have said, hey we are adding a hijab or Arab-inspired clothing it might have gone over a little better. By saying Muslim-inspired, Muslim-a follower of islam, makes it religious. How hard is that to understand??
