Actor Or Director

Wait, we can be a director? What?

If there’s a playwright I’ll probably go with that, tho. I so want to make my own plots and see actors act them out.

A close family partnership - wife and husband or siblings (one being an actor and one being a director) would be pretty cool, and could cause drama if they don't pick their family to get the role in their upcoming film... dun dun duuuunnnnn

I would like the option to play both but I don't think director has been mentioned as an option.

You can't be a director; I think this was more of a hypothetical poll to see if people would rather have had Director as the main career instead of Actor.

If I'm understanding it right, you will be playing the director (sort of) while your sim plays the actor. Or at least I hope that's how it works. I want some creativity with this new career.

Yeah, that part's entirely speculation. We don't know the shape of the Acting career yet, if it has something similar to a directing branch.

Is there a branch towards a directing career?? I was hoping there would be. I would still enjoy the acting career, but I was hoping directing would be an option as well.

I have a feeling we won't get to write the script or design the sets. You can pick and choose the gigs from the choices the agents give you.

Active careers from Get to Work didn't have two branches.
I'm afraid so will be with this one.
But if I could choose, I'd choose director.
