D - Keeping them both Olives but you could pretent that one Olive is an ancestor of the other (so one is a namesake of the other, like named after her aunt or great-grandmother or similar). In this story, you could age down the new Olive to make it make some more sense. You could also keep them in separate Worlds/saves as if they're in separate timelines, depending on your play style.
E - Keeping them both but change the first name for ONE of them (I'd say the new one, as you aren't invested in her yet). In this story, Olive and Oriana (or Odette or Orla or Opal or whatever you choose for her new first name) are long lost twins, so it's natural that they have similar interests and the same last name. They won't have the built-in family tree but I love this idea for building their relationship and combining their stories!
