Anyone else wonder why they haven't added more after school activities for kids that could help them reach their aspirations. They are mostly just rabbit holes anyways--how hard would it be to add a sports club that builds fitness and an art club that builds creativity and a science club that builds mental to help these kids earn skill points without me always having to micro manage them?I assume there are some good mods out there that add more clubs. I am open to those recommendations.

I wish sims had actual after school activities though. They could add a ballet studio venue, or a simfu dojo or something else where kids can go and progress through these hobbies/skills. Would be great if they learned these at a much slower rate than normal skills so that they'd join as kids and earn their black belt at a much older age if they continued practicing and winning sparring contests like irl and then start making money off of it. They could gradually win ribbons, then medals and then trophies.

Yes, it's very sad they dropped this idea without continuation. Just two clubs are not enough.@Dannakyri1 if you don't mind mods try Ilka's mods for children and teens. They are amazing. New aspirations, after-school activities, events and odd-jobs. I use everything by her.

You can take your kids to the art center, they have drawing tables there and the little violins for kids. You could also try to set up clubs for kids for activities they can do like swimming, dancing, science, etc.

I would like to have more after school activities for kids. With the current aspirations kids all seem to have the same interests, especially in large families.I currently have different clubs for children/teen hobby's ( like swimming, creative). I also have all my played and unplayed teens in 'classes', where they find their own friends independent of their siblings.

My clubs meet at the house which has a pond near by so they can fish. No one has to leave to attend a club gathering. I usually have my kids do all 4 aspirations plus scouts so I can switch up club activities depending on the aspiration. When they first go to school I have my kids make friends or go to the park on Sat. to meet other kids. I prefer the hands on approach to rabbit holes. I used to have a mod for afterschool activities but I did not like it. The kids were never home during the week. They only had a hour between school and the activity. Hard to green a kid in an hour plus homework. When they got home in the evening they didn't have times to do much before they collapsed. They didn't have time to work on the requirements for the activity so they didn't progress. Sure, I could have cheated needs but not my style. I already use MCCC to make the day longer in real-time with needs at deceased rate. I just prefer a hands on approach with a family supper meal.

Yes, we have a Scouting club (from Seasons) and a Drama club (from Get Famous). Since then, we've had nothing.
I'd have loved the football/soccer and gaming 'clubs' from University to be available at schools too <3 I use Ilka Velle's stuff and they're amazing <3

I'm hoping that they plan on adding more clubs in a generations pack but they're are so many they could of added already.

EL could of added a community service/conservation club, DU even though really only for adults could of still added a football, robotics and debate club/team for teens as well as the more basic clubs like art, band, cooking, chess, video gaming, woodshop, gardening, etc.

So players want more rabbit holes so they don't have to play the game. I'm all for adding more rabbit holes but I do not have to use them and that's fine. I enjoy playing a different way.

Oh I know about the scouts. I didn't realize it was an after school club cause it's at the weekends. :D

honestly the lack of content for kids is so annoying. i like scouts, because it's fairly interactive since you do other things besides the rabbit hole, but the drama club is kind of pointless imo. some club ideas are maybe a dance club, cheerleading, sports, science club, band, and art club. hopefully we'll get some sort of generations pack where these could be implemented :D

Do you guys think there may be more clubs for kids added in Snowy Escape pack? They added the youth festival and school uniforms, maybe they added other things as well.
