Aging off or on and why?

I have aging on for now.
I play the same family over and over again.
But now Im thinking of just letting my sim parents kids grow to the teen years and just turn aging off until an education expansion pack hopefully comes out.

I always have aging on. When I play with a mortal sim, I have them chug down that youth serum when they're getting close to becoming adults so they can stay forever young. The downside is of course that they'll get sad a lot when friends drop like flies due to old age, but I can live with that. :P
