The next GP seems like an “alien” apocalypse, possibly only contained to one neighborhood (Strangetown), and seems to make sims fall under a sort of hypnotism or hive mind. Update- apparently it’s been confirmed it’s not aliens... so some type of hive mind? Maybe a villain for sims to face? A giant flying pig? I give up :neutral: Other features--Trailors- (unknown if they are functional or just decorative)-"Hypnotized" walk style-Military??.....I hate but also love this marketing strategy! It was a brilliant move by the marketing team and a fun way to announce new content but I’m too intrigued to the point I’ll be obsessed with this until we find out more

I find it weird that they'd give us alien content twice. I know they gave us vampires twice in Sims 3, once in Late Night, and later an upgraded version in Supernatural, but both those packs came with a whole host of other content.

It looks like there's a story behind it. A military plane was out on a mission and got "lost", maybe even in time, and crash landed in Strangetown, or a version of it, where some even stranger stuff is going on and Bella is revered and worshiped from her air balloon. It looks like we're getting a military career, some kind of new desert world with a Strangetown and possibly dystopian feel to it, and some way to play "cult" types. It might even be part of a bigger theme, but the world tells me this isn't quite Witches or any Occults that we've had before. Very interesting.

I don't expect anything remotely supernatural anymore. :/And even if they include something supernatural it might still be a useless temporary state, like the skeletons, not an actual life state. Perhaps a link to strangetown but doing aliens twice in a game which lacks so many supernaturals feels very unlikely.

Looks like an off the grid alien invasion pack. So you have to try to survive an alien invasion and loot houses and such.

Its not zombies btw, it was already confirmed.

The weird mind control has something to do with plants, they keep mentioning how water is life, they also mention fruit, flowers and the word "arboreal" (meaning living in trees or related to trees) a lot.

The water thing? Oh my, they have probably been working on that a while now, I thought it was a bug because sims kept wanting to drink water all the time.

*makes note to not let my sims drink water/ or remove all sinks*

I'm relieved it isn't zombies. They were so annoying in Sims 3. Can't wait to see what it is though. With the water, crater, fruit and tree hints, I'm wondering if it's an "off the grid" type pack with a world styled like Strangetown. If it's off the grid, I hope we can use the objects in other worlds.
