Nope. Nothing wrong. If I compare it to what's wrong with past sims games, this one is the cleanest.

I dunno... 3 was a technical mess for a lot of people -- a lot more than seem to be having trouble with 4. I know I had my fair share of lags and crashes with 3, even with just the base game.
Granted, 4 does have its issues (like that the patch notes seem to always be more stuff they were thinking about maybe fixing than stuff they actually fixed), but overall, which one was the best/worst is probably just a matter of your priorities and personal experience.
It's been far too long for me to remember clearly what it was like starting out in TS1 and TS2, but I definitely think 4 has 3 beat on "cleanness," if that means decent performance and lack of crashes. YMMV.
