Am I the only one who never cared to play families or with ageing on?

While it's neat there is the option, I honestly have played with ageing off ever sims 2 introduced ageing. Only briefly did I play with it on and it's just not for me. Neither is controlling families...

I play aging off but have it on for all one or two times per a sim year ...(long agespan) for one week. So its almost like never. But it is on at some point.

I have all my own made townie/NPC households I cannot load, because of their roles in game. And i'm not interested of aging them in cas, but this way townie kids age when playables do.

Also all my occults are immortal, if not by game system, then flagged as such by MCCC.
