Am I the only one who never cared to play families or with ageing on?

My sims are frozen in time too. I like to fill up my worlds, so its a huge chaotic rotational play and I fill it with all life stages, so I do have families too, with children that never grow up.

I just like to be able to play whatever I am in the mood for that day, family, love, carreer, evil grandma...and have them all in the same "world" (save). But I also dont like the newborn to toddler phases, they get boring fast....usually my sims dont go through that, I just add a child in CAS if I want them to have one.
