Actually I think University was well received overall. It's one of my favorite packs.
Huh now it is a good pack. I have been hearing it is too hard, all these rabbit holes, I was bored after a week, it takes too long to get a degree and my complaint which is it is not rotational friendly at all...lol no wonder the devs are confused about what to do. It was received better than IL but from what I have read it didn’t seem like one of their better packs.
I have all the expansions and IL is my favourite by far. I LOVE that pack and use it more than any other, though Seasons/Get Together are close behind haha. DU is my new least favourite, which had been City Living for ages before DU arrived lol. Don't get me wrong though, I do like DU and I like ALL the expansions, but DU just doesn't offer much for my style of game play and feels really lacking to me. It wasn't worth the money and I really regret buying it full price (especially since 1 week later it went on sale lol). IL on the other hand I get Sooo much use out of every time I play and I haven't even looked at mermaids yet, so for me it was well worth purchasing.
