Annoying vampire bat and mist form

Weird, I remember vampires using the bat form to move around the same room even right after the game pack came out. I don't quite understand it on an emotional level, as @MorieTris ssaid. I mean, you have a good point, I agree, but then again, Sims use it even when they're alone ;) Also, more seriously, I believe it must be tiring. I find it annoying as well, so I always turn off that option on my Sims. I only wish that that choice would stay with Sims when changing the households.
