I just get way too frustrated with my sims when they have autonomy, they all seem to have the exact same personality regardless of traits.
Likes and dislikes seem to not affect their behaviour at all. They will go out of their way to go dance to the music they hate and then feel miserable.
Vegetarians keep eating meat if someone prepared something with meat.
Evil and mean sims just befriend everyone without trouble.
No sims ever romance another by themselves. in previous games, I always let my sims choose who they want to be with.
Wants I just have to turn off because of the stupid fear system, sims developing a new fear every day when it's on, all of them becoming such a fragile wreck.
That and their wants seem to relate little to their actual traits.
It's really weird to me considering traits do so much more in Sims 3, you could really craft a personality with it. And there where also a lot more.
Now they even hide a trait like brave behind requiring a crazy amount of happiness points.
And you constantly have to get them away from dancing to the radio and using the computer, they are obsessed with those things. I feel like that should only be a thing if they have traits linked to it. Like a dance machine wanting to dance and a geek wanting the computer.
