Anyone else concerned by the way Sims 4 is being broken up and sold?

I have realized Sims 4 will not change enough for it to be good enough for me. What I, and maybe a few others, hope is that if they decide to make a Sims 5, they just might listen to what we feel is wrong with this game and make the next one better. But seeing this last stuff pack has dashed all my hopes that 5 will be any better. Maybe that's why everyone is so upset with this pack. It's hard to see the future of the game will be any better than what we have in Sims 4 and that plums.
