Oh I get that - but keep in mind we cannot force the ep team to add things if they have a limit they can't exceed - and to me it seemed an option to have more C & D stuff plus a few small pets - the very thing simmers were upset about. I really don't think anyone would have been upset by anything in that pack if they had given it for free - but for what ever reason they could not give it for free - it suddenly is like the worst pack ever. That is why I don't agree with all the upset - seeing I do get what I wanted with the pack - even if I have to pay 10 dollars for it.
When I wanted toddlers - I would have paid for them too - that's how bad I wanted them - but was pleased we didn't have too pay for them - plus there was the issue also that may have been an issue if the toddlers were not patched into the base game - never mind future packs. There was no issues with additions to an ep though - and can fully understand EA not accepting them to patch in a pack for an ep - so it had to be a paid pack or I am pretty sure they would have not gotten EA approval for it.
I would be more unhappy not to have this content than not getting an option to have it period. Personally I hoped the sp would open the door for us to get more types of pets thru other sps - but now I am pretty sure that will never happen.
What EA learns from this most likely is we just get to go without then. To me that is sad - sps are very optional as are any packs - but they need to exists for us to have the option to buy them.
