Anyone else concerned by the way Sims 4 is being broken up and sold?

Yes, I’ve always understood the parallel universe in a strictly story line way as well. Though there is the interview where a guru called Sims 4 a soap opera rather than life simulation. But that’s clearly not back to its roots and I believe that interview was post release.
