Anyone else spend way to much time redressing townies?

So when I play I always get like maybe two sim days of playtime in before I am back in manage world mode putting all the randomly generated sims in new clothes and giving them actual skin colors (my game loves to give them the grays that came with the vampire pack). I am actually at the point I wish I could curb this OCD play style of mine...

  • I usually find myself changing them only if I plan on making them intermingle amongst my household. Friends, partners, etc. I'll edit them a bit to make them more appealing. There's a lot of red-headed sims around. Not sure why lol

I think I may just delete the game generated townies and just make my own. I also wish they weren't all so pale, pear shaped and bland looking.

Is there a way to do that completely?
  • Any townie child gets a makeover from me when they make it to teen, I don't bother with their parents since they will be dead soon anyways.
  • I did it right before seasons came out for almost 200 sims. I hate it, but I like people to look normal.

Of course it didn't really matter, as they all walk around wearing whatever nonsense they please regardless of whether or not I dress them.
