Yeah I don't think Maxis are out to please everyone, they are instead making what they want to make. While I can understand that it's no fun to remake the same things over and over again, it is odd to make an entire expansion pack based on this. It's like you can see what they had in mind but they kinda just made the same things again anyway that they have made in other packs.
It's like their team have these crazy ideas and the people who actually make them just makes the same things over and over anyway. We can change community lots at any time in build mode, why have a gameplay mechanic for it?
