I think the main reason people wanted a farming pack is because so much of the focus in recent packs has been modern. When I say I want a farming pack I personally mean I want to play Story of Seasons and Stardew Valley but in the sims. I want a town that feels like taking a step into the past, where no one uses cellphones and it has that idealized comfy out in the sticks feel. I know that not every country town has farms but the stereotypical idea of the countryside is that it has farmland. Not that stereotyping is a good thing to do. I mean, when you look at how popular Stardew Valley became it's pretty obvious why people want a "farming" pack.
I want cows we can get milk from and chickens we can get eggs from to make new cooking recipes with. I want farmer's markets, more crops, slow dancing, country fairs like the ones they had in Sims 3 seasons etc
A farm EP has been requested for years. We had bits of it in past games and it worked out quite well. Chickens are from the TS3 store but the options for cows and sheep would be cool amongst other things.
I would even go as far as suggesting really old stuff. A water mill for instance or a bakery we’re you have to make flower rather than simply a community lot were everything is pre made.
