Anyone not into using mods or DLC? If you aren't into mods or packs, why?

I'm one of those folks who don't use them. Been playing the Sims for about 4 years now too.  From my experience, a lot of people really enjoy playing The Sims 4 with extensive custom content or DLC ...

I don't use mods or CC but I cannot even fathom playing without any of the official DLC packs. It sounds incredibly boring to me.
