im just hoping there is a fix for prom on consoles?? i find it unfair that PC and MAC users have had this issue resolved and us console players are still left in the dark… im half tempted to disable highschool years and not use it for gameplay anymore. My game is fully updated and still nothing. 14/04/2026
lxlyaxnn, you can blame both Xbox and Playstation needing the extra layer to also approve the update. The PC and Mac don't have that. We just get an update and it could entirely break the game without warning.
That much is certain. I get all anxious anytime the word patch is used.
As much as I'm dying for the prom fix. Secretly I'm hoping that the reason that console hasn't gotten that update is Sony and Microsoft are holding off because of the Marketplace, something akin to what they did to My First Pets pack.
What does that mean? Why would the marketplace make Sony and Microsoft hold off?
The Moola microtransactions. I personally am not against the Marketplace. But I am against the Moola system and wont buy anything off the Marketplace.
I just find it strange that it's been weeks since the Marketplace launched on PC, all we have had on consoles is an announcement that the Marketplace is coming, and that was weeks ago. So yes, I'm hoping it isn't technical issues but legal issues.
