Are debug items safe?

It may sound like a stupid question but is using the debug items safe? I wanted to use some debug stuff to decorate my house (toothbrush, pans, book stacks etc) but I'm a bit scared. Do they cause any...

Yes they're safe I had used them a lot and nothing bad had happen to my game.
