It depends on the context. They can be relevant & also irrelevant. Some do a good job, some not. Most of them are not "playing" anymore, but rather than just endorsing, commenting, or even, just jump on certain bandwagons. I must say that, there's only a few that really are good, easy to approach, actually playing the game, & sharing relevant information.
However, most of them are not playing the way I did, so, that's why they're irrelevant when giving thoughts on certain packs or features. Talking about LP, I stopped watching anything related to this because, hardly anyone is actually completing it, so, I prefer not to waste my time watching new challenges whenever anyone starts a new one because, it's always stopped half-way.
I appreciate the independent creators & other Simmers more because I get inspired & perhaps be able to share the same "sentiment" on how we feel about certain gameplay/feature because I know that, most who are actually playing are one who doesn't need a certain affiliation to begin with. Just my 2 cents! ;)
