Are vampires really as obnoxious as people say?

So I never really planned to buy Vampires, partly because my main save doesn't contain any supernatural anyway so I never really felt the need to have them and partly because I often read that vampire...

I own it -- but have BARELY used it. I really want to make a vamp family soon. Its a unique pack, I'm definitely looking forward to playing around more with it.
