Are vampires really as obnoxious as people say?

I finally had a break in, and I had my sim talk to the vampire, and nothing happened. It's a vampire I made, he's insane and his family just moved out, so maybe he has some stress going on in his life and he needed to break into a house. You would think kleptos would do the break ins. Vampy just came in to use the computer. He didn't bite the regular sim or steal anything. They have a positive relationship now.
