Are you board of the Sims 4??

Tge sims 4 has improved so much in other ways but do you find yourself playing it not as often, i do and to top it of they give us city life sure it's a beautiful but a modder can make the same thing.

Here are my questions are EA taking advantage
Of us because alot of Sims 4 players say they will but i won't personally i think the biggest game changing EP they made was Get To Work and Get Together, City Life is like an improvment to Get Together City life is parties doing discovering as much land as we can (Because we don't have an open world).

took a huge break from it, skipped Dine Out and all the stuff packs that came after, still don't think that buying them would fix my experience with the game, or make it more interesting, so yes. Still bored of it.

EDIT: I also don't see why this topic is in the expansion sub forum. At the very least it should be in feedback if not general.

Have you played at all since the gender patch was released?
  • Yes been bored with it for months.. Have not updated game in long time. Gone back to 2!!! No interest in new expansion pack!!

didn't have a reason to. Got excited for CL briefly only for that to completely die when we started getting more info :I

Well maybe the next expansion will be the one to draw you back in. :)
  • The ONLY way and the ONLY reason I can have any fun at all with Sims 4 is that ironically, it's simplicity can be used as a "strength" of sorts.

In Sims 2 if I tried to "build the town" by filling it with Sims I made, I'd quickly get overwhelmed with too many Sims by generation 2. It was just too much to do. With Sims 3 I didn't have that option as it encouraged one family per file.

I try to play the whole town rather than an individual Sim. For me it's somewhat fun to see just how much I can customize the town by filling it with memorable characters, and the game is simple enough that yeah I make actual progress. I try to "personify" each aspiration (example, Fortune Finder would be Ambitious, Snobby and Materialistic), so that'd be about 26 sims total. I have about 13-14 made, with 4 couples with kids between them already.

While at times entertaining, things still get rather dull very regularly. Sims 4 is less of a game for me and more of a "project." It's more about seeing how much I can do to fill the town, but I don't think I've ever caught myself eagerly enjoying the experience and not wanting to shut the game off and go to bed. It's just not the most interesting game on the market.
  • I think I get bored of the game a lot, but not because of TS4, but because of how I play the game... I usually make a couple of characters that I love soo much that I don't wan't to age them up and make families with them because they'll have to die.... But if I play with them all the time then I get bored because I did everything I wanted to, but there is no progress because they are always the same.

I have a couple of save files with legacy families and I really love those saves beacause my game is way more dynamic because all characters age over time and my ''kids'' have their own babies now and the game feels more alive, than in other saves where characters dont't age and are always the same.
