- I basically use this option as a "maybe" lol. It does look good but eco living had so many bugs that I still haven't purchased. We'll see how buggy it is and how soon they fix said bugs.
- Daephene15 years agoSeasoned AceWithout hotels it's unlikely to be a must have right away kind of thing, but I do like all the new activities and that they did another non-European/US world. I will undoubtedly get it on sale or ask for it as a gift at some point.
- DeKaythePUNK5 years agoLegendI don't know what it is about exactly cuz I haven't seen the trailer (or is there even a trailer out yet)? But I'mma go with no.

I have switched back to the Sims 3, because the Sims 4 seemed to focus too much on partying and other fun activities, and they need to focus more on things that can actually be useful in real life. However, if I was still playing the sims 4, and I found out that this expansion pack added stuff such as blizzards, ice storms, prolonged power outages (meaning that some sims can be without power in their homes for several days), or other bizarre events, then yes, I would buy the pack.
You need Seasons and Eco Lifestyle for blizzards, constant rain, lightning and prolonged power outages with off the grid, I just wish the earthquakes and volcanoes from Island Living destroyed a bit more though.
In fact when I began playing Eco Lifestyle it rained for days and days everywhere I went, just like in the UK in real life. - simkitten875 years agoNew Aceim planning to get it as soon as i can. am really impressed by what i saw.
- SweetieWright_845 years agoSeasoned AceMaybe, probably, I'm not sure. I like some of what I saw in the trailer but I'm not jumping for joy with excitement. I'm keeping an open mind, as usual.
- EntityofDesire5 years agoSeasoned AceI will buy it but not for some time, I no longer have the Sims 4 installed (playing Sims 3) and it literally releases within the same time period as Cyberpunk and AC Valhalla which I'm more excited to play by far.
That said when I do eventually re-install the Sims 4 i will look at purchasing it, again hopefully on sale as I suspect it will be during December. - OldeSimsFan5 years agoSeasoned AceJustine Keaton? The reveal trailer leaves me underwhelmed. They show snow in the game. Does that mean Seasons is required for it to work properly (more DLC for DLC)?
- amp1075 years agoRising VeteranI'm very excited for it! I've been wanting both a snow world with snow sports and an Asian world with beautiful cultural architecture elements; I'm happy to see both of those items in this new pack plus more! The bamboo hike, hot springs, mountain climbing, and lifestyles and sentiments features look great. I can't wait for it.

She’s OP’s favourite sim.
Anyway they’ve already said that seasons isn’t necessary, though you’ll probably need it for sims to actually feel cold. It’s possible that the mountain area won’t be effected by season so it’s usable more than 25% of the time for anybody who has seasons installed.
