My college prep and University sims are vacationing in Batuu and Mt. Komorebi.
The next batch to go through my prep school will go to Sulani for their vacation. - No. I already have a vacation home there from before the update. Having it zoned residential is just too convenient to give it up, plus the house comes with an android skilled in cooking and wellness (rent is payed to her in advance).
- alanmichael15 years agoSeasoned AceYes, I built a rental "housboat" and love it.
- atreya335 years agoLegendDefinitely. I am in the process of making my own save file. I will have one rental beach house in the town are and one empty campground on the vulcanic island.
- Yes. I like to use it as a residential too. I love that we can use the worlds as both now. I just wish we could change the Salvadorada to a normal world, so we could have vacation and residential properties.

I really like that idea, but I think my sims would prefer a yacht. I have a couple of rentals in Sulani, they were previously assigned as beach so anyone could use them when they needed a place to stay. - Sharooonia5 years agoSeasoned AceI want to but I'm not a builder myself and visiting the gallery has been difficult of late.

This. I'm not saying it's not good that we have rentals now because a lot of people wanted them. But I've always used residential as rentals and vacation homes. It seems much more convenient especially for rotational players. I don't personally see the benefit of selecting it as rental unless you just want the accurate title of "rental lot"
But that's just me. - DaWaterRat5 years agoSeasoned Ace

I don't want to hassle with moving the family between homes, myself. And yes, I do find it a hassle to be sure that I don't leave anything important behind at the rental house. It's also easier than splitting households and recombining them if I only want some of the household to go on vacation. Maybe I want to quick wrap up grandma's aspiration to be a beach bum, so they head off to Sulani while the rest of the family stays home and goes to work/school like normal.
Granted, I don't play rotational, but I do have MCCC and if I leave a house behind, MCCC may fill it up if I forget to set the bedroom count to 0.
So for my current save, I've converted two of the existing houses in Sulani to rentals, and I've to date used one of them once. - RouenSims5 years agoSeasoned AceNope. I like residential worlds.
