I have never understood this weird obsessive need to lay babies on the floor. That really is the only thing you'll get. I bathed a baby once in sims 2 just to see it. I age babies up pretty much immediately in sims 2, 3 and 4. Babies are cute but they are helpless. You get over it pretty quick in real life.
