Baby stuff/Stop labelling the first life stage as an object

Sims 4 babies need to be treated as a real life stage and not an object, unlock them from their bassinets and allow the parents/siblings to carry them around the house and recreate all the old animati...

They're a placeholder. They lay there until the game -- or the player -- decides that enough time has passed to get a genuine Sim.
