A base game update during an event that's already buggy at times. 😬 I really wish this event would have ended before a possibly big update. I want to unlock those special eyes . Let's hope this update doesn't break the game or ruin long lasting saves. Postponing the update and at the same time playing online for the event isn't really possible.

I usually leave the game or play offline for 1-2 week before update patch. Then I realize that this time there is Reaper’s Reward… 🙄
Waiting for one week might be possible because we will have two spare weeks. Or waiting just a few days may be safer. I know that we can make no-mod game folder to play just for the event, but I already played with my main save and want to continue with it. I can wait.

I was wondering what to do about this too. I usually wait a while to update (because I hate how frequently mods need to be updated) but I do want to complete the event.

mariefoxprice83I plan to wait until the EP is released plus a few days. We have 8 weeks until the deadline for the 6-week event, so we have 2 weeks of spare time if it's too risky to update right now.
Moreover, essential mod modders usually update quickly and I saw that EA gave the necessary data to modder in Discord. I believe that I can update the game this weekend.
For safety, back the whole game folder, and don't play the story too long. Just play the Reaper event. So, if there is something wrong, we don't lose too much progress.
P.S. I want to say again, that if there is no Reaper event, I will hold the update for a month.
