So I'm glad they added new skins tones and the new makeup sliders are really great they expand the options of makup a lot but... genetics for skin tones are kinda broken.
So i decided to check and see what the games handles passing in skintones to kids and I've had mixed results. Put a sims with one of the lightest skin tones of any of the categories and a sim with the darkest tone in any category. I would assume the kid would then have the chance of coming in any tone but nope. Kid defaults to lightest warm tone. Putting sims who skins tones are on a closer in range of each other allows the kid more variety in possibility but if the parents skin tones are to far in range the kid seems to go with the lighter parents tone.
This clearly needs more looking into and a fix.
