Batuu BFF

I recently started rotating between households. Currently in my game, Summer and Travis are dating and new parents. Liberty has moved into the house across the street, and is dating Mitchell Kalani in Oasis Springs.

I didn't really plan any of that happening as quickly as it did but Wonderful Whims, MCCC, and a few other mods decided for me.

Now, I'm playing the Free Spirits (Maaike Haase and Ulrike Faust) household in Windeburg. Maaike has a crush on Gunther Munch, again Wonderful Whims, and Ulirke has a thing for Darrel Charm. I'm not sure where either of these crushes are going to go yet, as I haven't played the other households.

I like this household, but there are always others that I like better, so they tend to get overlooked. But at least they survive the initial townie purges when starting new saves.

In my rotational save they are a polyamorous family and raise Summer's daughter (with Carlos of the Renegades) together. Before committing to that Summer had several relationships with other sims, in order not to intrude into Travis and Liberty. But the other two I think have always known that they were destined to stay together, all three of them.

Funny thing is, I created a side Star Wars themed side save just a couple of days ago and the BFF are the founders. They live in Foundry Cove, a small First Order settlement about a day's ride from Black Spire. This time I plan to give each a partner from outside the household, thus creating three close-knit families.

Here they are searching for jobs. That's George Cahill from Strangerville in the background, he is their Captain.

So far only George was in the actual Batuu world and he has hit rank 2 in the First Order. His Paranoid trait relates to Jedi and the Force in this save, not the government. I hope in time he'll come around and realize he's NOT working for the good guys.

And here lighting has just struck the tent Summer and Liberty were in. The same day they lost the second tent and the camping shower.

@SweetieWright_84 I like the Free Spirit household too. :smiley: Travis and Liberty have got married in some of my saves and had a kid. Summer usually moves to San Myshuno and becomes a Politician because many times I went to San Myshuno she was always there protesting haha.

@BoergeAarg61 Nice to see they are still living together. :smiley: Now I'm thinking maybe I should keep them living together even until they are elders. I like their house layout too.

@EnkiSchmidt I'm happy I'm not the only one who sent them to Batuu! How do they live there though? Were you able to build something somehow? I'm definitely going to have to add George Cahill to my Star Wars gameplay, that's awesome. :smiley:

I have them live in Willow Creek and only visit Batuu as the downtown so to say. But I've had sims live there in the past. With the bb.enablefreebuild cheat it's possible to add basements to the First Order cargo hall and the Cantina.



On a sidenote I like the idea of Summer as politician. I still need a mayor, maybe she'll toss her hat into the ring. (She'll have to do a couple of Batuu quests beforehand to become eligible.)

I put Summer in the Social Media career as I'm not really a fan of the Politician career. I really don't know why but I just never cared for it. Liberty is a Freelance Programmer.

@EnkiSchmidt It would but fun to build a basement apartment under the Cantina lol, I'm going to play around with that cheat, thank you!

@SweetieWright_84 I've never built up a Sim in the Social Media career before, but I just saw online there is a Cat Video Creator level haha. I'm going to give that one to Catarina Lynx in Brindleton Bay and all her kittens :smiley:

I’m not sure what they’re doing, because I deleted them six years ago! :lol:

I don't think I've ever paid attention to the career tracks in the Social Media career. Truth be told, I don't think I've ever had a sim make it too far into that career. I do agree, Catarina Lynx would do quite with that career track.

@Elliandre While I haven't played the BFFs very much, they are often supporting actors in my Simworlds.

My daughter got the idea to create "prequels" for the members of this household. She and I created families for each of them, including at least one parent and, sometimes, younger siblings. For example, Summer is still a Young Adult, but in Z's headcanon, she is barely eighteen and still living with her parents, Brooks and Leanna. She has a younger brother, Trent, who is a Teen. Liberty has five younger siblings. Travis lives with his mom and a younger sister. We're thinking about sending the three BFFs to university, along with a few of our other favorite Sims, but we've never rotated through different households who are taking classes, and we've read about how challenging it can be.

@Rouensims aww that’s too bad haha. You have been playing your save for 6 years? That is amazing. I start new saves and delete old ones way too often and then regret it.

@SweetieWright_84 It’s done. She makes videos of her cats now. Actually, I think she needs a renovation. I am thinking of taking some photography photos of her cats and putting them up all over her place. She seems like she would have photos of her cats everywhere lol.

@MoonlightGraham Making prequels for the Sim households sounds like so much fun! I’m inspired. Maybe I should age them down to toddlers so they can be BFF’s from Sim’s daycare and have some history growing up. But if I age them down to toddlers and there is no adult will they get taken away. Hmm. Okay. They can be orphans raised together by another Sim. I’ll have to find some elderly Sims in my game who need a new life story taking care of my three Batuu toddlers.
