It will probably be an announcement of what EA told to the investors in September.
For example Maxis didn't officially introduce The Sims Hub to the players so we could get a little more details about it.

Hope they maybe have also a gameplay pack for us and not just the the 3 leaked kits.
Hoping for new game pack announcement, the leaked kits, a stuff pack, an expansion pack and a rewards event

Waiting for the official announcement.
I have all of the Sims 1 and 2 disks and have had them running on this computer when I started playing Sims 4. So it would seem redundant to re-release them. You only need the correct drivers to play them on the computer you are playing now.
So I do NOT hope its a re-release of those versions of the game. I WOULD love to see some adding of things FROM the older versions of the game, as many have asked for. The robber is one thing I can think of. Pool tables are another. That is how I would prefer they honor the 25th anniversary of the game. And make these a gift to us, saying "Thank you for supporting us for 25 years". And of course, a WONDEFUL gift would be them just FIXING THE GAME!

Last year brought us a pulsating shopping cart, annoying pop ups, even more invasive screening filling adds (including some to sell DLC I already bought) and constant stress and pressure of time limited events. I could do with something positive for the sims 4.
I hope Maxis will show a future including the male sims.
Heterochromia eyes are still missing in the franchise, I don't want to wait for an other quarter century in order to be able to play with this option.
