Bella Goth Married The Grim Reaper

Bella wanted a baby with Grim so she romanced him.  Whilst she was still married to Mortimer a message popped up to say Grim was proposing.  Bella said yes.  When Mortimer died of old age Bella had the option to marry Grim.  I chose to elope immediately and they were married.  Grim had the option to move in.  He did but in CAS he had no name or body.  In live mode I clicked on a wardrobe to change him into swimwear.  He had a body but his face was missing.  All he had was teeth and hair.  Is this supposed to happen?  I don't use mods
