Best club ideas for Get Together?

This is the most underrated feature of all packs ! You can do so much with the club for story telling. I remember before we got university people used the club system to “emulate” a sort of university experience. I am surprised get together is consistently ranked bottom of all EP by the community !

I’ve made all kinds of clubs. One of my most recent is a club for foreign dignitaries to gather at Buckingham Palace. I’ve also made clubs recently to gather together the members of groups like Green Day.

I’m definitely going to try to use clubs more for sure! I’m excited to try some ideas you guys shared in this thread!

I use clubs for many reasons, but mostly for easily gathering certain sims. I have political groups/council which often operate as a group. I also like how clubs can help building certain skills faster - like I have a knitting club where members will build knitting skill faster. When gathered it might be only the active sim who knits, but because she build skills faster, I think it's worth it. Other members might start knitting too, depending on how many distractions there are. And my private high schools use Group functionality - one Teacher with the Mentor trait per class/skill, and s/he gathers the students at the school location and all of them start doing their thing - like woodworking for handiness or playing an instrument. Because the class club has a defined location, the group will be there working also when I play other households going there.

I think the club system is among the game's best features - seems rather unlimited!

Oh it is voted that low??? I love the pack, including clubs but also the world and the BB. In combination with Seasons this world must be in my top 3 for sure!

I usually just use them for friends, I'll create a club with all my sims friends and then I can just get them all to come whenever.

I feel like Get Together has always been the most dividing pack, from what I've seen half think it's one of the best, the other half think it's one of the worst. Guess it just depends on playstyle, some people love the dreary European vibe of the world, others don't, some use clubs all the time and others don't care for them.

My divorced father has a club where every weekend he has his kids over. They do homework play together. At night I change the activities to sleep so they all go to bed. I always change their activities for what ever I want them to do at that moment. ie homework, swim, eat, shower ...\

I've also had a girlfriend club where my sim has many female friends stay over and the one he gets on with best is the chosen one. this works well because they don't leave.

In another save I have a farm with about 20 fruit trees and very many plants, then I call over the garden club and they work the fields. Just remember to harvest the crop before the garden club does. I also pay them with the gifting method. Oh and I have an outhouse like toilet and lock the house. You can add a cooler and some picnic tables. Sometime I make them lunch and call them to meal.

I have a gym in my basement and have a club where I torture sims to work out do yoga or swim.

I have an art club where I sell all the members paintings in a retail store. They must paint on the home lot though otherwise your sim will be unable to sell them as they do not own the paintings. Then put the paintings in your inventory and take them to your retail store.

I love the clubs and also use them for extended family outings. Once you get started using clubs you'll wonder how you ever did without.

After reading everyone's ideas, I spent whole evening making clubs for my sims:D

Some of my favorite clubs I have going on right now:

1.) Bite Club - Vampire only club that goes to the vampire bar to bite, drink plasma, play the pipe organ, dancing, and use vamp powers.

2.) Early Bird Specials - An Elder only club that goes out to affordable restaurants

3.) King Pins - Bowling club

4.) Celebrity Elites - Celebrities/rich sims that go to the spa to get pampered and relax

5.) Coffee School Club - Club for teens who go to coffee shops to hang out and do their homework.
