I don't understand the meaning behind those two socials. Why do our Sims need a hundred best friends? Is this part of the new compatibility feature? Is that why it is stomping all over the other social interactions? And the moving in thing that pops up out of nowhere should be saved for close friends and romantic partners. ONLY. Not some rando my Sim met, then briefly chatted with for about five Sim minutes. Per usual, new features trump everything else and we end up with social interactions that make no sense. And are, frankly, a huge annoyance. These randos are also entering my Sims homes without waiting to be invited in. It's like IL all over again with Sims traipsing around as if they own the place, walking in and taking over computers, TVs, raiding the fridge, then having the nerve to ask to move in. Usually while their spouse is sitting right there in the same room. All my lots are once again fenced in, and the gates are locked. Why can't we just take our time learning about the new features without having them thrown in our face every five minutes? I'm already growing a bit tired of fending off the persistent random Sims that want to be BFFs or move in every time my Sims leave their homes. It. Is. Creepy.
