Best Friends Spam Overload?

All mods have been updated to my game's current version. I have played in vanilla mode but the BFF and Move in requests remain the same. I have gone through all my MCCC settings to make sure I didn't enable something by mistake. I have searched for the toggle some of you have mentioned that will turn off the NPCs' autonomous requests, but it is not in the Game or Pack options anywhere. I do not own HSY so once again I am assuming that particular option was included in the pack rather than in the pre-EP base game update. I am going through Bienchen's mods list later today to determine if I missed any new updates. And I am going to grab that mod she mentioned earlier in this thread. Real Life is about to control my life once again for a few months and my free time will take a serious hit as we finish packing up and moving into a rental while our new home is being built. We were taken by surprise when our current home sold within days of being listed. We are now scrambling to get what has been packed, along with most of our furniture into two storage units and figuring out what we'll need to take with us to the rental. Getting my game straightened out is very important to me at the moment. I need something to help me get through this without having a total meltdown. :D
