Best Wall Lights? (No CC)

Trying to light a room using wall lamps but I can’t find one that does a good job. I have a 4x4 bathroom that had a 2 tile wall in the middle to separate the shower. Don’t want to rely on a ceiling lamp, or using more than 3 wall lamps in a small room

I'm not sure what packs you have. You can line each one up in a blank dark room to see which one is the brightest.

When I'm building I like to keep with the theme so often I have to use the $50 subtle saucer light to make up for the lack of light when using lamps or wall lights. Adjust the brightness in live mode. I know you're trying to avoid stacking lights in a room but lighting in this game has never been great. It's why the cheap ceiling lights were patched in yrs ago.

Another option is to place 2 lights in the same position using MOO. This looks the same as using 1 object, but doubles the cost and the intensity of the light.

In case helpful, I thought I would point out again that you can also change the brightness and color of all lights in Live mode, so it might be best to pick the light based on its looks and then make it light the room how you want in Live mode.

I forgot about that ?‍? will remember for next time. Thank you!

  • @JustinB113 I think all lights default to their brightest setting, and then you can dim them and change the color in live mode.
  • Did just that. Spent about 1 hours looking for a good light. Found a base game that did the job. I really don’t like that only a few are good, I always rely on subtle saucer but want to step away from it. Thanks for the help

Thanks! I’ll keep that in mind for next time
