To give myself a little credit I think I'm pretty good at building both. And I like building both! Unless I'm tired and just trying to fill up a world with better lots as placeholders until I get around to building the lot myself, I don't use the gallery at all (especially since the gallery is filled with so many non-functional lots because people abuse the move objects cheat and don't care to test it).
But building homes is.. easier I guess? In the sense of I know what rooms I need (kitchen, living room, bedrooms, etc). Community lots can be so different from each other.
Even though I've built SO MANY lots, I've only shared a small handful to the gallery (mostly Britechester rebuilds), but I'd like to do it more, I just mostly play offline and don't update right away so it limits me. But since I'm both a builder and a player I always make sure my lots are fully functional (since I always use MMO), and I'd like to provide some play-tested builds for people to use ??
