B&H - Retail Glitches - Please Update Us!
Open For Business 2 is releasing today. As a 25 year simmer, I'm sad I have the day off from work and don't get to create numerous businesses in my game. Due to a bug that's been present for over a year now. Not all of us have it but many did. Suddenly, the new patch created it for many more people. It started with For Rent.
My retail, residential rental, and restaurants that are owned businesses in my game do not operate properly neither as the active owner household or another that visits said business.
I thought the following...
- The Patch will fix this issue since a pack based on this is coming out. A full one, not a half done feature.
- They will prolly refresh GTW retail. Maybe we will get registers and lines again! What a great opportunity to fix the past mistakes!
- I literally cant wait to play Businesses and Hobbies.
What happened....
- The last patch actually caused this issue to happen to many more simmers. Universe clapped back hard at EA for this mess.
- There is no refresh. In fact, they talked about all pack integration opportunities except.... the other feature based on retail businesses?
- Random simmers saying todays patch fixed all those issues.
- No mention of any of it
That said it's all very odd. Suspicious. Was the pack already in development when this bug reared it's ugly head? I'm so sad as OFB was literally my most played pack in Sims 2 and the GTW Retail system, as whack as iPad transactions are (and inefficient chasing customers around large lots).
So please folks update us if these issues are working now? Because despite my aggravation, I would still spend $40 right now to explore that pack!
