i hate this kit! i cannot get rid of the dust everywhere and it is making my sims unhappy. how do i disable it?

There’s a toggle in Game Options under packs, you have to collapse the Get Famous and Eco Lifestyle boxes to see the one fo Bust The Dust, remove the check mark and that should disable it. Or you can remove the pack entirely following the tutorial below and use the command line argument I provided.https://youtu.be/9K3mMf-HtIsYou need Command Line Argument: -disablepacks:SP22Also, they’re supposed to be tuning it in tomorrow’s patch to make the dust occur more slowly and some other fixes if you’re interested in waiting & seeing if that helps before disabling it entirely.

thank you! i have avoiding playing because of it. i was hoping the maid would clean it but it just doesnt go away! thanks again for the quick response!

@GalacticGal the dust shows up after about 8 sim hours unless you choose the option to disable it in the game pack settings.

I mean, this is one of the few times it was needed. There's no reason to have a brand new house instantly turn filthy with dust bunnies. That is inexcusable bad game design.

Bust the Dust
We retrained our adorable yet filthy Dust Bunnies to not appear quite so often. We also made some tweaks to the dust situation and we hope now that it doesn’t accumulate as frequently as it has. What’s your favorite name for your Dust Bunny? Mine is Furthur! (Italian Simmers… hope you know what I’m talking about).

So what is the link between Italy and Furthur? I only know the name Furthur in connection with hippie stuff.
