Black Friday?

Origin Black Friday sale is up in the EU. 50% for EPs (20€ instead of 40€) excluding University and 25% for GPs (15€ instead of 20€) including RoM.

Shame there's no deal on stuff packs as the moment.

Oh my, this got complicated... I went to Origin, built a bundle of Discover University+Strangerville+Laundry Day. It told me the total would be so-and-so, and I went on with credit card details. Luckily I noticed the last screen summing it all up to $15 more than on the previous page!!! There was no bundle discount on the final landing page, only on the ordering page.

So, I went to thesims.com to see if there was any other info. I found the build your bundle link (after crawling several pages in search for it - let me add how much I miss the old store...). I there discovered that DU can not be included in a bundle! ???

What's the deal? I understand I would get less discount (if any) for DU in a bundle, but really? Why can't we include a full price pack? Is this normal, or has BF messed up the sites?

I'll of course not add 2 extra packs if I need to pay nearly full....

what is the current discount price on a bundle with this sale? Origin is showing 28% but i suspect the cache needs to be cleared once again once confirmation comes through.

Yep, you need to clear cache for bundles to work properly each time a pack is released otherwise it gives errors or does not display the newest pack at all. University was available for a bundle ~24hrs after release.

Ew, no Stuff Pack deals, and GPs are only 25% off. I think I'll just wait for the Christmas sale.

Kind of disappointed game packs will only be 25% off. Do they ever go lower than that?

DU was available in a bundle all along. Up to now. I found some disclaimer far down on the Origin page, but my biggest problem is that the site showed 2 different prices.

"PLEASE NOTE THE SIMS 4 DISCOVER UNIVERSITY IS NOT PART OF THIS BLACK FRIDAY SALE, AND WON'T BE AVAILABLE IN BUILD YOUR BUNDLE DURING THIS TIME."

Which is fine, I never expected it to be on sale, but they could have made it so it could not be added - because when adding it there is not even a warning.

Hard to tell, in fact. I adjusted the Origin 2 level login thingy in October, so I get 10% off any purchases in November. Including all, the bundle was a little less than $50 I think. Right now a bundle is $0 according to site, ha-ha... I better go shopping!
