I have a workplace set up for rabbithole careers too, so they can go there during their time off and I can pretend they are at work for storytelling. They form clubs with their work colleagues and have a club gathering. It's actually set as a library as I don't need a bartender or cafe person there.

There is a basement (mainly for criminals) with fitness items, a computer and a woodwork bench, next floor up has the chef stations, fridge etc and a reception area where the main toilets are, with a 'waiting' area which contains chess and bookcases. Next floor up is for artists; easels, digital sketch pads and items set up for them to paint. Next floor up has computers and spy-type gadgets, then the top floor is for general office workers/education with computers, draft table room (maybe for civil designer and the home decorator), coffee machines etc.

I have a separate army base for military, which is set up in Strangerville as part of the story there. For photographers, I have a separate Lot which is also for actors, it has pretend 'scenes' with cameras, lots of backgrounds for photo shoots, dressing rooms etc.

I was thinking about library as well but I would like a cafeteria of some sorts without having to hire an npc. I will test if a library spawns a bar tender but I don't think that will work. For the same reason I also decided against museum.

I really like your club idea. Especially for the computer related activities I can have other sims do similar tasks.

Are there any work from home careers that require a cooking station?

What items do I have to include to accomodate as many work from home careers as possible?
I haven't played them all so I would like to know if anyone knows what items to include

As far as I know these are careers with a work from home option:

Another thing I am wondering about is the lot type. Currently I have it set to arts center because this one comes close to the intention with loads of activities and most importantly this lot type will spawn a bartender. Does anyone else have a suggestion.

I plan to upload this once it is done but my time in the game is limited so expect this build to take up 2 or 3 more weeks, especially if I want to do some play testing.
