Charisma is the most boring skill to build in my opinion. What would you say is the fastest way to build the skill AND/OR the least boring way? I'm currently on level 6 and dying to get to level 10 so I can move on to better things (supersim challenge)

Make a club, get the charisma skill boost, get the confident boost, and building the skill will speed up quite a bit. Applying the convivial lot trait will probably help as well.

The fastest and least boring way that I know of is getting the Great Kisser trait and kissing someone a bunch of timesOf course, that requires having enough satisfaction points to get the trait. But satisfaction points aren't that hard to get.

If you have Get Famous, recording videos on the Video Station actually builds charisma pretty quick. It’s the method I’ve been using because you get fame and money at the same time. ;)

I got in the habit of having my sims compliment others everyday as part of their social interaction, there are a number of interactions that boost charisma of course. So if they are living together/family or just meeting someone or with a friend it's just part of their chatting routine. They might be mean right after or whatever else they do but .. that part is standard for me. I very, very rarely have them use the mirror, basically only if they need a point(s) for a job asap.

Charisma is always the skill I max out first without even trying. Must be my style of play.

Seems like the general answer is, socialise and get some more expansion packs! I don't have Get Famous or Get Together but they are definitely on my list.

I'm with @GalacticGal. It is the most boring skill of all the skills so I am not against cheating just to take it off the list.

UI Cheats Extension. I use it to max Cooking and Mixology for my NPC bartenders and restaurant staff.
Right click on a skill bar to set level (from 1 to 10)

True @Chazzzy, but you can always buy the reward trait to remove a celebrity quirk; I've done that a few times.
