Bunk beds are comin y’all!

These will be really nice for smaller homes.

It does seem like it could be part of a pre-pack update and I still think we are likely to get a teen focused GP in the same vein as Parenthood (the survey last year had a few teen related options and didn't allow us to choose teens as a lifestage to improve, hinting that they already had plans for them) and I could see bunk-beds kind of being teen related.

Either way I'm looking forward to having bunk-beds officially in my game next month.

They never once said neither of those things couldn't be added. as a matter of fact, both of those were things that the devs expressed interest in wanting to do for several years.

Those reactions in the chat though! People love their bunkbeds.

I think once they saw the modders make the bunk beds (Ravasheencc) and a few others make workable beds - they had to up their game. I think also paralives is pushing them as well, even though it is still in creation.

PandaSama is the one who made the functional bunk bed with animations. She also made the new dairy cow mod.

Luckily with it being in the base game, it means they can add new bunk beds in other packs that look a bit different.

Everything with sims is controversial these day for some simmers. Many people who use free cc don’t necessarily care about having anything but big packs. But I don’t use cc, so I’m excited about these new types of packs. I wish they would bring a world pack out.

It shouldn’t have taken almost 7 years to put bunk beds. We could’ve gotten bunk beds as early as Cats and Dogs or a specific pack that would’ve worked extremely well with is Parenthood. I’m not really excited about content that should’ve been in the game years ago. Time and money wasted in those 6-7 years.
