We are going to get some, "Well, that's what Get To Work should have had in the first place", but I am going to be glad to make venues as a business again. In TS2, my vampire ran a Jazz Club and Bar.
Sims would pay a fee just to enter the place. She collected human familiars to do the things she could not do during the day and ran her club and partied during the nights. It's also nice to have a new alternative for my artistic sims. Someone is going to run a tattoo parlor. I hope EA saved some surprises for later. I hope the game allows for working bar with a mixologist employee.
I currently have four sims going though Uni together. The will share a place as they get their careers started, but will eventually separate and go there own ways. Olivia will be starting a fashion boutique. So now she can buy a property a live above it as it grows. I have an earlier version of her do that before, but she needed to own two properties. Now she only needs to own one.
I also experimented an interior decorator sim also owned a home furnishings store. I need to find a new sims for that.
😮Oh, and I forgot my Outfitters store! I collected all the things a Sim would need on a trip to Selvadorada and allowed them to buy them in advance from the outfitter's store. I was less interested in actually running the business I just wanted a place for sims to gear up before the trip. But, I could make a world traveler sim who sells all the things they discover in their store.
I just hope EA has address one of my issues with businesses. The main point for all of my businesses was to provide a place for my other sims to acquire things that they could not buy or make for themselves. And these stores would be restocked when my sims went in to purchase items. Currently I have to go find the owner and have them restock the store. It kills the immersion.
