This packs looks great. I am really excited.
- multi purpose lots with several customisation options. not just stores but also hobby classes and sales. Lets hope it also includes consuming food and drinks. The customisation options look awesome, very like for rent. I wonder if for rent let's us make a shop with more residential units
- pottery: the discription shows mulitple objects including a functional tea set. That's more than I expected
- very elaborate on the tattoos. Not really my cup of tea but nice to see it fully developed
- The world looks nice. It feels a like the Netherlands (was in speculations) but the names in the blog post with neighborhoods Gammelvik and Iverstad are totally not Dutch (as a native speaker I am allowed to say so). The white topped mountains on the world map are also 100% not possible in the Netherlands. But that's ok. I guess it's scandinavian inspired. Again a small world, same as for rent. Looks like 6 and 5 lots per neighborhood. With a small 2 neighborhood world I suppose the world is not what this pack is about.
All in all I can't wait to find out more. 😀
I thought of Amsterdam when seeing the first scenes of the trailer, but knowing names and seeing the full map, I think the chanals might be inspired by Stockholm instead. I also see influence fom Norway (and maybe Iceland), especially from the name Nordhaven. Gammelvik might be Norwegian for Old Bay, and Iverstad might be Swedish for a stad (town) founded by someone named Iver, which could be a Scandinavian male's name. The architecture feels historical, still reminding me of Netherlands, but I guess also Denmark and the other Scandinavian countries had or still have some of those tall buildings.

I think it’s a mixture of the Scandinavian countries.
Iverstad translates to ”eagerness town” which is fitting for the pack. (I’m swedish)

Oh ja, Iver could definitely be eagerness. I agree that would fit very well with the pack, it's a less realistic RL name, but would be typical for the game. And a very scandi word, anyway ;)

I thought of Stockholm too when I saw the map with the boats. I think the town looks lovely and I love the sound of the boats. 😄
I like the new skills added, pottery, candy making and tattoos. I am not into tattoos in real life and don't usually give my sims tattoos but I like the idea of a tattoo shop, especially as they are customizable. I will make one of my artist sims into a tattoo artist. Love the pottery craftables and the fact that there are quite a lot of useable items. Would be nice if they added more slots to the shelves, it's so annoying when there's too few slots and even small objects don't fit or when they fit just one object, regardless of size. Can't wait to make a candy shop and try out different business options from other packs. Wonder if the ticket machine works with unowned community lots, would be nice to be able to pay for things like museums, von Haunt estate and such.

i think most of us thought it was gonna be based on The Netherlands, Amsterdam in particular because of the buildings, the vibe and the tittle and i thought they meant Noordhaven ("North Harbour" in English) untill i found out it's actually based on Sweden and someone mentioned about a mountain which we don't have in The Netherlands but i do still feel like it's a mix of the scandinavian countries, Finland and The Netherlands countries in 1 world because we also have canals and where i live we also do business
